PACO Steel was engaged to provide a custom section used as floor and roof beams for military housings to exceed the government request for proposal (RFP) with a rapid erection requirement. The lightweight custom PACO I-beam was selected over the light gauge steel and wide flange alternates. The units were designed and provided by Premium Steel Build-ing Systems, Inc. in Roanoke, VA for the Johnson Controls MEES 800 Relocatable units. Their cost-efficient engineering coupled with effective utilization of materials ensured a superior product.
